Work at The Willows
Welcome to The Willows, where we believe in growing together and giving children a great head start! At The Willows, we foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and joy for diversity. We see children as capable individuals with rights, and we prioritize their best interests in everything we do.
Our History
Established since 1997 The Willows employs over 30 educators and staff to care for and educate 104 children each day.
We are a family run service, with directors Trevor and Cathy Carroll having been in the organisation continuously since 1997. Our Assistant Director and Educational Leader Alex Halls joined The Willows in 2005. With our two longest serving educators Leanne and Trudy have both remained with us for over 15 years.
We firmly believe that our staff are our most valuable asset, and work closely with them to ensure a contented, progressive, supportive team. The ability to work well in a team is essential at The Willows. Educators must be prepared to continuously improve their knowledge and skills.
We have chosen the Early Years Learning Framework as our curriculum and are dedicated to learning through play. We are committed to ensuring children are linked to nature in every possible way.
