A Celebration of Dedication

Oct 31, 2024

The past month has marked significant milestones for several key members of our Willows community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the following individuals for their extraordinary contributions.

We are honoured to celebrate these milestones with you and look forward to many more years of collaboration and growth. Thank you for your incredible dedication and for making The Willows a truly special place to work, play, learn, and grow together.

Leanne – a whopping 23 years!

A true Willows legend, Leanne has been an integral part of our family for nearly as long as the Willows itself. She has mentored and shaped countless educators, played a special role in the lives of hundreds of children (many of whom now have children of their own!), and has been instrumental in making The Willows the magical place it is today. Thank you,

Leanne for all you are and all you have done!

Alex – 19 years

Having spent her en>re life at The Willows (though, only an official member of the team since 2005), “The Willows” is in her bones. Her journey from a young trainee to a seasoned assistant director is a testament to her unwavering dedication to the Willows vision, her belief in the power of high-quality early childhood education, and a commitment to the pursuit of best and better practice.

Trudy – 15 years

Trudy is a one-of-a-kind force of nature, and truly The Willows lynch pin. She is a powerhouse, an energiser bunny, a beacon of passion, dedication and commitment, and a stellar human to boot. She is a driving force behind The Willows and we cannot thank her enough for choosing to share her gifts with us every day!

Amy – 10 years

This award- (and heart-) winning teacher and Village Coordinator, was absolutely born to teach! Her intelligence, passion, patience, kindness, creativity, and ability to lead through courage and connection, are second to none! Amy, we are so grateful that you spend your days with us, guiding children and colleagues with expertise and grace.

Georgia – 6 years

She is brave, critically reflective, sharp as a tack, and staunchly committed to continuous improvement. She strives for excellence, is an advocate for childcentred practice, and has a finely tuned compass with a true north of, “what is best for the child?” Thank you so much for helping us to be the best we can be!
