Certificate III in Children’s Services.

Tanya has been involved in Early Childhood Care and Education since 2013.

‘Since I was little, all I ever wanted to be was a mother. I am lucky enough to have three children, but now they have grown and are all at school. I can now share my experience, knowledge and nurturing skills with children I work with.’

Tanya feels that children learn best when nurtured and respected during their daily play and exploration. She works hard to collaborate with staff, children, and families to ensure the highest standards are met when it comes to children’s learning and development.

Coordinator of The Junior Preschool Room (3-4 years)

Bachelor of Teaching (Birth to Five Years). Teresa has 6 years experience in Early Childhood Care and Education and has been a part of the Willows team since 2014.

‘I am passionate about creating a care environment in which children can really thrive. Supporting children to develop positive dispositions for learning is really important to me. I believe children do this best through play. Albert Einstein, a notably successful person, is reputed to have declared that "play is the highest form of research." My aim as an educator is to become a play expert.’

The things Teresa likes to play with most are paint and colour—‘I can’t get enough of either.’

Diploma of Children’s Services. Trudy has been with the Willows for 6 years.

‘I feel it is very rewarding to witness the children growing and developing into the unique people they will become. I believe children learn best when they are able to work at their own pace and be supported by educators on their learning journey.’

Trudy strives to provide quality care and nurturing relationships with both families and children, and would like families to know that, ‘I understand how hard it must be for you to leave your child in other people’s care, I will do all that I can to make your child feel safe, secure and supported while in my care.’
